Debenhams Breaks New Ground with National Disabled Model Campaign

Debenhams has become the first retailer on the British high street to launch a national window campaign featuring a disabled model in all of its 160 stores in the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

The ground breaking imagery features disabled model Shannon Murray, along with additional photography, mannequins and products in a display to launch the Debenhams autumn winter womenswear.

The innovative display follows an approach by Nikki Fox and Natasha Wood, both disability campaigners and presenters of the hit TV show, How to Look Good Naked, which lead to a trial using Shannon in three stores earlier this year. The pilot resulted in the some of the most responsive and positive feedback the retailer has ever received prompting Debenhams to take new shots and roll out across all its stores.

The move comes as a natural next step for Debenhams following campaigns featuring plus size and petite models, un-airbrushed swim models and size 16 mannequins - all since the start of 2010.

Debenhams hopes the latest move will encourage other retailers to follow suit and be more versatile.

Celebrity stylist, presenter of 'How to Look Good Naked' and inclusivity campaigner, Gok Wan, commented: ?"After months and months of hard work, this is some of the best imagery I have seen on the British high street…ever.

"It is so inclusive and fabulous. This, for me, is bigger than anything else I have ever personally worked on and I have never been so proud in my entire life."

Michael Sharp, Debenhams' Deputy Chief Executive said: ?"We cater for men and women of all shapes and sizes, young and old, non-disabled and disabled. ?So following on from our initial work with Shannon and the How to Look Good Naked team, we wanted to make a commitment to continuing with this inclusive approach.

Shannon Murray, the disabled model who features in the new Debenhams window campaign added: "I am delighted to be working with Debenhams again and?I applaud?their dedication to represent real women on the high street.

I'm hoping that eventually other brands will follow Debenhams' lead and?recognise the diversity of their customers."

Nikki Fox praised the store for using Shannon in its campaign: "It was a very proud moment for me when Debenhams agreed to cast our beautiful disabled model Shannon for such a huge campaign, but what is even more exciting is how Debenhams have continued their commitment to using?Shannon.

"Debenhams is the first on the high street to regularly use?a disabled model?and it's great that they have done so because they passionately believe in representing everyone. I am very proud of what we have all?achieved."

Mark Stevens, Head of Creative at Debenhams, and who heard Nikki and Natasha's original pitch added: "We are committed to using a variety of models in our photography, and have had a fantastic reaction to our fashion jackets work with Shannon so far.

"This second photo shoot and larger scale campaign was a natural next step as we aim to be as representative and inclusive of our customers as possible. I've no doubt we will carry on using disabled models in a variety of shoots in the future."

The images can be seen in Debenhams' womenswear autumn winter launch windows in all stores across the UK and Ireland.

Debenhams is also trialling a revolutionary new wheelchair display product called a Mannequal in its Oxford Street window. Debenhams will be asking customers to feedback on this over the coming weeks.

Laura Ashley: First Place for Furniture

Subscribers to high-end online shopping directory Sheerluxe.com have voted Laura Ashley best e-tailer for furniture in the first annual online shopping awards, beating off stiff competition from the likes of homeware giants John Lewis and Habitat.

Laura Ashley's range of furniture allows customers to create homes that ably combine quality, style and, crucially, comfort, with living room furniture that spans the spectrum from elegant fabric sofas in cool, classic shades to the luxe grandeur of commodious armchairs in deep berry velvet or rich brocade.

Dining room furniture like the Milton table, in honeyed shades of oak, is created with family-friendly meals in mind, while the glossy black finish of the Henshaw lends itself to more formal dining arrangements. Bedroom furniture and fabrics for little ones encompasses the sweetly fantastical nature of childhood whilst still holding bags of appeal for more refined adult tastes, and for grown-ups, offers a choice of delicate romanticism, fresh minimalism or sensual opulence - all geared towards making your bedroom the haven you desire.

"We were thrilled to see Laura Ashley win the 'Best for Online Furniture' category," says Sheerluxe.com's founder and editor, Georgie Coleridge Cole. "Whether you are looking for country style or something more contemporary, there is something for everyone. Unlike their competitors, every piece is available to view in their online brochure in lifestyle photography, as well as in stand-alone images. When you're ordering via the web it really helps to be able to see all furniture shot in situ. We are big fans of Laura Ashley at Sheerluxe - both in terms of the quality and price points of their furniture."

New SUP Clothing Collection Added To Stand Up Paddle Flatwater Lineup

On a constant mission to provide stand up paddlers with the sickest SUP gear available, Stand Up Pad women's coats online dle Flatwater is pumped to announce the addition of the Premiere Paddle Surf clothing collection to its comprehensive yet selective lineup.

"As soon as I saw the Premiere Paddle Surf designs, I couldn't wait to offer them to our customers," says Stand Up Paddle Flatwater co-owner Lainey Booth. Each one has a very classic yet current feel."

The seamless blend of traditional and modern elements is the result of ardent research and careful design by the Premiere Paddle Surf team, headed by Sean Cook, who is a stand up paddler himself.

In search of visuals that would resonate with SUP enthusiasts, the team gained access to archived photographs of early watermen like Duke Kahanamoku and spent hours pouring over books at the Surfing Heritage Museum in San Clemente, California. They also sought inspiration from their everyday surroundings to give the designs a fresh, exciting, up-to-the-minute quality. "We incorporated images we see every time we're on the water - like paddlers backlit by the sun," says Cook. For further refinement, prominent stand up paddle athletes were invited to offer feedback.

The outcome is a definitive line of stand up paddle apparel for men and women that includes T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and more.

Until now, stand up paddlers seeking to wear their love of the sport on their sleeves have been limited to apparel designed by consumers and apparel designed by board manufacturers and retailers as a secondary focus. By contrast, the Premiere Paddle Surf clothing line is created by a company solely focused on creating apparel that matches the SUP sensibility.

Stand Up Paddle Flatwater has been offering the Premiere Paddle Surf clothing line at its flagship store in Bend, Oregon for the past week to very positive responses. "I haven't seen SUP clothing this cool anywhere, not even in Hawaii," says avid stand up paddle surfer Tom Burke.

In addition to the Premiere Paddle Surf clothing line, Stand Up Paddle Flatwater also carries SUP apparel by a number of other top-quality brands like Victory KoreDry, Hobie, Kialoa, Stand Up Paddle Bend, and more.

Stand Up Paddle Flatwater is a full-service, family-owned online SUP shop dedicated to providing you with everything you need to have as much fun as possible with SUP. Whether you want to surf big waves, win races, get in shape, shoot rapids, just cruise, or do a little of everything, you can trust us to help you pick equipment you'll be stoked on. Chase Announces Additional $1.3 Million Grant to Financial Literacy Organizations

"Knowing how to manage your finances is an important skill throughout your life, but especially during times of economic uncertainty," said Jeff Courtney, senior vice president, Customer Support Division, Chase Card Services. "Fortunately, there are a variety of qualified organizations to provide assistance, and our Financial Literacy Grant Program is intended to improve awareness of those resources. We hope these grants will help people across the country get the information they need to increase their financial literacy, improve their financial situations and, as a result, their overall economic stability."

According to a recent survey by Freddie Mac and Roper Public Affairs and Media, 57 percent of late-paying borrowers still do not know lenders may offer workout options to help avoid foreclosure. However, borrower confusion is not limited to mortgages, but can extend across the financial industry.

"We are grateful for Chase's commitment to financial literacy through their Financial Literacy Grant Program," said Susan C. Keating, president and CEO of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC). "By supporting NFCC Member Agencies across the country, these grants will directly help the many consumers who are in need of quality financial education and counseling services."

Chase's Financial Literacy Grant Program, now in its third year, gives consumers greater access to information, credit counseling services and the support resources that they need to take control of their finances and improve their financial health and stability. With its donation this year, Chase has provided $3.9 million in the past three years to more than 90 organizations. The nationwide program is part of the ongoing commitment by Chase to support financial education and literacy for people of all ages, so they can keep their finances in check while pursuing what really matters in their lives.

This year's grants will be sent to more than 30 organizations, including credit counseling agencies and consumer financial research groups. Chase grant recipients, such as the Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Buffalo, Inc., the Young Women's Christian Association in El Paso, TX, and the Consumer Credit and Budgeting Counseling in Marmora, NJ, will use the grants directly for consumer education, community outreach and awareness programs, and for conducting research to design more effective financial literacy programs. There are also grant recipients like Take Charge America in Phoenix, AZ, a program that provides basic financial and budgeting education to high school students.

Each grant recipient is selected based on criteria that distinguish them among qualified credit counseling agencies that are providing valuable service and education to consumers both within their communities and throughout the country.

Chase Offers Long-term Support to Financial Literacy and Smart Credit Use

In addition to the Financial Literacy Grant Program and other financial literacy contributions, Chase offers a variety of resources for consumers on its Chase Clear & Simple Web site to help them better manage their personal finances and use credit wisely. For custo Tips: Find Street Fashion Online(may be you can find what you want on the oasap.com) mers, Chase provides a number of tools, policies and account management options to help customers gain greater control of their accounts, avoid fees and maintain their best interest rates, including:

-- Clear pricing practices: Chase will not increase interest rates for cardholders solely based on credit-bureau information.

-- Over-limit Controls: Customers can protect their accounts against over-limit fees by adding customized "controls" to their accounts that contain their spending within their credit limit.

-- Customized Payment Due Date: Chase customers can select their own payment due date, choosing the date that is most convenient for them

-- Free Account Alerts: To help customers avoid fees, Chase will send free reminders by e-mail, telephone or text message when a payment due date is approaching or when spending is nearing a credit limit.

Consumer Tips for Dealing with Financial Stress

Chase encourages consumers who are experiencing financial stress to reach out to their creditors or a certified credit counselor for solutions. The NFCC offers some basic tips to help customers avoid and better manage their debt:

-- Track your expenses. To find money available for savings, first determine where you are currently spending your money. Write down every cent you spend. At the end of the month, take a look at where your hard-earned cash really goes.

-- Create a budget and customize it to fit your lifestyle. A well-designed spending plan considers all sources of income, living expenses, debt obligations, and savings. Be sure to incorporate all three expense categories - fixed expenses (e.g., mortgage, auto loans and rent), variable expenses (e.g., credit cards, groceries, entertainment, clothes and gasoline) and periodic expenses (e.g., property taxes, home repair, and car maintenance).

-- DON'T start charging when there is no money. If you have no money left after paying your bills, you may be headed for trouble. It is not a good idea to routinely rely on your credit card to pay for living expenses when you don't have the cash available. As a general rule, you should not be spending more than 20 percent of your take-home income on credit card bills or loans, and this includes your car payment.

-- DON'T apply for new credit cards simply because you've reached the credit limit on existing cards. When your cards are taken to the limit, it is time to pay off the balance and adjust your spending habits - not apply for more cards.

-- DO make more than the minimum credit card payment. The NFCC recommends paying at least double the minimum required payment.

-- DO reduce expenses wherever possible. Look for no or low-cost entertainment and cut back on other day-to-day spending. Small reductions in daily spending quickly add up to big savings. Trimming $5 from your daily expenses adds up to more than $1,800 over the course of a year!

-- DO work with your creditors. If you encounter any problems repaying your debts, contact the creditor immediately and explain the situation. Creditors often will work with you to come up with an alternate payment arrangement.

-- Get to know your credit report better. Dedicate spring cleaning time as the annual time to review your credit report, which you can get for free at http://www.annualcreditreport.com or by calling (877) 322-8228. A credit report contains information about your credit and loan history, including amounts and payment history and is used extensively by potential lenders to evaluate your credit worthiness. Read each report carefully as there may be discrepancies between the three credit bureaus. If you find errors, file a dispute with the credit bureau.

-- DO seek help from a credit counselor. If you have been unable to resolve your finances on your own, consider working with an NFCC certified credit counselor to create a plan you can live with, one that helps you budget your money and repay your debt. An NFCC member agency can customize a spending plan that fits your lifestyle. Contact an NFCC member agency near you, call 1-800-388-2227, or log onto http://www.nfcc.org.

Nebraska Photographer's First Exhibition Just Happens to be in Europe

Beginning September 22 and continuing through October 12, Patricia Saldana-Neumann of Lincoln, Neb., will be among four internation Tips: Find Street Fashion Online(may be you can find what you want on the oasap.com) al artists whose work will be displayed in an exhibition at the Colorida Art Gallery in Lisbon, Portugal. Her seven fine art photographic prints on display at the Gallery explore the alternative world of infrared photography in portraits of women and children dressed in Victorian costume.

Founded in 2007, the Colorida Art Gallery is located by the Castle of S?o Jorge in the highest hill of the historic center of Lisbon, in a building more than 150 years old. Its principal focus is the representation of an international group of contemporary artists whose diverse practices include painting, photography, sculpture and drawing.

"I know it sounds bizarre," said Saldana-Neumann. "People dressed in period clothing photographed in infrared, is not how you typically see portraits. Yet, it seemed to work. I am fascinated with recording the invisible light known as near-infrared in all of its surrealistic and odd beauty."

Saldana-Neumann shot the photographs on display with an older model Canon digital Single Lens Reflex (SLR) camera converted to an infrared camera. The modified camera she used to shot her infrared photographs has a super-blue infrared filter located inside the camera in front of the digital sensor.

"By modifying a regular camera to one with an internal infrared filter, you can take a lot of the trail and error out of shooting in infrared and simplify the process," said Saldana-Neumann.

Saldana-Neumann listed several advantages to converting her camera to infrared versus mounting an infrared filter on the lens. "I don't necessarily have to use a tripod with my converted camera. I can hand-hold the camera. I can see the scene in front of me through the viewfinder as I would see the scene through a regular camera. Since the infrared filter is inside the camera, I can use any lens I want to shot a scene. And exposure times are very much shortened with a converted camera compared to using an infrared filter on the lens.

Aside from being fascinated with infrared photography, Saldana-Neumann is even more fascinated that her display in Portugal will be her very first exhibit anywhere. Jose Robert Moreira, director of the Colorida Art Gallery, contacted Saldana-Neumann in June after finding one of her photographs on an online gallery published by the Photo Review Journal. The Photo Review Journal is a critical journal of national scope and international readership. The magazine has earned a reputation as one of the best serious photography publications being produced today. The photograph seen by Morieira was one of her night shot taken in Lincoln.

Saldana-Neumann said Moreia contacted her via email and explained that he had seen her work online. He suggested that she submit recent photographs for review by Gallery staff for possible inclusion in a future exhibition at the Gallery.

"I was very skeptical at first and feared that this may be a some sort of scam," she said. "However, I checked out their Website and contacted several American artists who had exhibited there previously," she said. "The Gallery proved to be legitimate and has a great reputation for promoting emerging talent."

"He made no guarantees," said Saldana-Neumann. "I took a risk. Instead of submitting images of my night photography, I sent him my most recent images of infrared photograph," she said. Two months later, he contacted her again and offered her the opportunity to display her infrared photographs at the Gallery.

"I am so incredibly excited," said Saldana-Neumann. "I'm a relative newcomer to digital photography, so to be exhibited internationally is a huge honor," she said.

Saldana-Neumann recalls her experience with photography as an undergraduate journalism student at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Back then, she said, manual focus and 35mm film-based cameras were the norm. For photography classes, she bought a Minolta SR-T201 SLR, her first film camera, a classic by anybody's standards. She still has it and says it works beautifully, especially for black and white images.

Over time, she set down her camera, had a family, went back to school for a graduate degree in journalism at UN-L. Four years ago, after many years sans camera, she took up photography again, taking classes at Southeast Community College.

"Nearly everything I know about photography today, I learned from my photography instructor at Southeast Community College, a fantastic teacher by the name of Barbara Hagan," said Saldana-Neumann. "I started with the beginner's class, learning the features of my first digital camera and continued to take Barbara's more advanced photography classes. She helped shape my perception of photography, gave me a solid foundation of technique and provided me with an appreciation for fine art photography. Through her, I rediscovered the absolute joy of photography."

Today, fine art photography is Saldana-Neumann's passion and her obsession. "I love telling a visual story, creating a mood and illustrating a scene that may at times leave the viewer questioning its existence," she said. Night photography and color infrared photography are her focus. "I enjoy capturing light that people are too busy to notice or just cannot see," Saldana-Neumann said.

Her night work has been published in Photography Forum's 2011 Best of Photography Annual and an online gallery of the Photo Review Journal. In January and February 2013, she will be exhibiting more infrared photos in a group show with several other photographic artists in Lincoln at A-Z Printing.

Leftyslefthanded.com Makes the Case for the Advantages of Having a Left-Handed Mother, Just in Time for Mother's Day

What do left-handed mothers have in common with Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Charlemagne, and Napoleon? As Mother's Day approaches, consider the following parallels.

Great military leaders have to plan and strategize long and complex campaigns involving numbers of people who must be housed, clothed, equipped, and fed. They have a clear understanding of their own army's strengths and weaknesses, as well as their enemy's. They must be able to inspire their troops and citizens to undertake difficult and potentially deadly battles for political reasons not entirely clear to the ordinary soldier.

The leaders listed above were ALL left-handed. In fact, a surprisingly high percentage of history's legendary military strategists were lefties, and it's no accident. Neurological studies have shown clearly that left-handers use both hemispheres of the brain for certain types of thinking, though right-handers primarily use the left hemisphere for similar tasks. This structural difference gives lefties an advantage in spatio-temporal projection - in planning complex campaigns in far-away places over long periods of time, for example. Lefties can read plans and maps, and understand how things will work out in three dimensions as well as in time. Not surprisingly, a high percentage of both architects and chess players are left-handers.

Now consider the tasks a mother must manage in the campaign of family life, and the relationship is clear women's coats . It's no wonder mothers are frequently compared to generals (though they are usually more subtle about it)! Mothers have to manage, plan, strategize, evaluate, and, especially, inspire.

The best generals are those who can turn unpredicted events to advantage, who are themselves unpredictable and creative, and who can capture the imaginations of their troops so well that soldiers will risk their lives. Imagine how useful these skills would be for mothers - especially the talent for getting people to do what they want to avoid. Again, these are traits often shared by lefties - creativity, unpredictability, resilience, and an ability to engage and lead people.

Left-handedness is considerably more prevalent among men than women.

Because left-handed mothers are a relatively rare group, their children are both fortunate and well-equipped to handle whatever life brings.

For Mother's Day, Birthdays, Christmas, or any special event, left-handers are touched when they receive gifts designed especially for left-handed use. With retail stores at San Francisco's Pier 39 and Downtown Disney in Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL, leftyslefthanded.com has the world's biggest selection of left-handed gifts and tools. From left-handed chef's sets, to left-handed sewing and gardening sets, lefty's has terrific ideas for gifts for left-handed mothers with almost any interest or hobby. Lefties are so used to having to adapt that they can hardly believe there are left-handed products designed especially for them.

Fashionistas Become Auctionistas

The past decade has seen radical growth in the fashion industry worldwide, with web portals allowing fashionistas to essentially order clothes straight from the runways. Still, somehow, vintage fashion has long been held hostage from the rest of the world by stylists and collectors in the few capitals where boutiques even exist.

While presenting their newest collections, the major fashion houses are returning to honor the heritage from which they came with Gucci opening a Museum in the center of Florence and Hermes' ad campaign highlighting the date of their establishment "contemporary artisans since 1837". The success of the Costume Institute's Gala, in collaboration with Vogue, and the epic Alexander McQueen exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art have broadened the presentation of fashion as a living art form to the wider public. And so men and women everywhere have embraced the idea that fashion is art that you wear, an opportunity for individual self-expression; anyone can be an artist, every day, any day, an idea further reinforced by renowned bloggers such as The Sartorialist or Face Hunter.

And so the moment is right for this niche market to be brought out to the fashion-lovers everywhere who would like to source rare pieces from the comfort of their homes. Auctionata, the first online real-time auction house announces the launch of their newest division: Vintage Couture and Accessories. Fashionistas must now become Auctionistas to participate in Auctionata's curated, concise auctions featuring the world's premier vintage boutiques and private collections.

The inaugural auction, which will take place on October 18, 2011 will offer 65 vintage handbags with designer labels such as Hermes, Chanel, Prada, YSL, Gucci, and Judith Leiber to name a few, all without reserves. The category will continue to expand with plans for an exclusively Louis Vuitton auction followed by a vintage Chanel auction next on the calendar.

To take part in this women's coats groundbreaking event, register now at Auctionata

To Understand Today’s Crisis in News, Look to the Past: a Journalist-Historian Tells the History of American Journalism in a New Book

Is American journalism really in peril? A robust, unfettered press, free from government intrusion, has forever been emblematic of our liberties and a vital part of American life. In his fresh narrative, Covering America (University of Massachusetts Press, cloth, $49.95), journalist and professor Christopher B. Daly provides a lively, engaging history of journalism's 300-year evolution in America, offering valuable historical context to today's "journalism is in crisis" meme. The good news: today's surge in partisanship, rise of the blogosphere, and journalism's overall teetering business model are but the latest in a long history of challenges forcing American journalism to find new and better ways to adapt and thrive.

"Too many Americans today believe journalism is falling apart," says Daly, who teaches journalism and history at Boston University, after a career at both the Washington Post and Associated Press. "From colonial times onward, there have always been challenges to the structure and practice of producing the news in America. Today is no different. History provides perspective." Daly's original research and comprehensive synthesis of the latest historical scholarship provides it in spades.

Drawing on a wealth of examples, Daly explains that U.S. journalism went through periods of deep change in the 1830s and again in the 1920s—periods that were just as convulsive as today's. In Covering America, readers will find answers to their questions: Is serious journalism dying? Are the media "fai women's jackets r"? Is ownership too concentrated? Is the FCC too involved in regulating content? Covering America sets the stage for serious analysis—while making enjoyably vivid the often larger-than-life characters who have shaped and defined American journalism through the centuries.

Journalism, in the end, is the story of people. Daly colorfully details and provides insight into the lives of the practitioners of journalism, the men and women, who, through sheer force of their personalities, built and contributed to the institution that runs as a thread through the history of the republic. Covering America presents them all—in an accessible story-telling format that focuses on the visionary innovators, famous and not, who shaped the industry to their times by dint of their often oversized ambition and personalities: Benjamin Franklin, John and Anna Zenger, Joseph Pulitzer, William Randolph Hearst, Nellie Bly, Ida Tarbell, Frederick Douglass, Kay Graham, Arianna Huffington, and more. Daly "adds shape and new understanding to the intriguing stories many of us know as myths of origin," says Douglas Cumming, author of The Southern Press: Literary Legacies and the Challenge of Modernity. The biographical portraits alone make Covering America a joy to read. "This is grand narrative as it should be," says historian Bruce Schulman.

Covering America is the work of an author wearing two hats—that of a veteran newsman and an academic scholar. Daly leverages primary material, including archival material, original documents, and recordings, along with personal experience, to provide brand new arguments on journalism across all of its platforms: newspapers, magazines, photos, radio, TV, and the Web. Whether focusing on media economics, the impact of new technologies, or the sociology and philosophy inherent in the journalistic enterprise, Daly manages a fine balance between scholarship and popular culture. This book will re-shape the discussion over the news media. A lively history of American journalism.

Read all about it!

"Essential reading for anyone who cares about American history, media, or culture. This is a great story about the entire tradition of journalistic storytelling, told smartly and thoroughly."
—Susan Orlean, staff writer for The New Yorker and author of Rin, Tin, Tin: The Life and the Legend and The Orchid Thief.

Tracyeinny, From Humble Beginnings to Leading Fashion Retailer In Singapore

A leading online fashion retailer based in Singapore, Tracyeinny has come a long way since its inception in 2007 when Jeannie Pang and Pamela Goi co-founded the company. The company started from a capital of $5000 and today, its monthly sales have crossed $100,000.

Over the last four years, Tracyeinny has successfully established itself as a trusted and reliable fashion brand that rolls out dozens of unique designs every week, offers a smooth online shopping experience and ships orders at a great speed. To add more, Tracyeinny is now a successful full fledged Ecommerce store with a physical presence – a rare example of successful online to retail expansion.

Tracyeinny set off with women's clothes and fashion accessories in the beginning but the company has now ventured into the shoes online market as well. Tracyeinny's first flagship store was opened in Chinatown in 2009 followed by the second outlet at Bishan Junction 8 two years later. According to the company founders, the stores were opened after repeat requests from loyal customers in Singapore.

In a recent interview with SGEntrepreneurs.com, the co-founder of Tracyeinny, Jeannie Pang said that their women apparel designs and themes got popular due to word-of-mouth and not because of expensive marketing campaigns. Jeannie said that the Tracyeinny website has attracted well over 1.9 million unique visitors till date. Highly targeted traffic in such large volumes has helped the founders to move forth at a great pace.

Tracyeinny has survived, and in fact, excelled in an extremely competitive environment where hundreds of blogshops exist in Singapore alone. Two cousins, Jeannie Pang and Pamela Goi set out to do something they really loved few years ago and today, results in terms of successful package delivery rate of 99 percent, website page views in millions and a positive brand perception are no doubt extraordinary.

Tracyeinny was awarded the prestigious Gold Category Award in the year 2010 for its distinctive service and rapidly increasing brand presence in online as well as offline circle. For a 3 years old startup company at that time, it was nothing short of a pleasant surprise and an inspiration to do 'more.'

The Tracyeinny has successfully made way for itself in the online fashion and style marketplace. Recently, the company began to offer savvy sales on weekly and monthly collections at http://www.tracyeinny.com.sg/. Women can do online shopping in Singapore or in any other part of the world can shop for the latest shoes and Maxi dress design arrivals from the comfort of their home at Tracyeinny.com.sg. For offline shopping, one can pay a visit to one of the two retail outlets of Tracyeinny in Singapore.

Jeannie is hopeful that Tracyeinny will someday expand its operations to South Eastern countries such as Australia, Indonesia and Malaysia. She recognized the fact that popularity of various trends over the next few years will decide whether Tracyeinny should venture into the South East or not. Although Tracyeinny has been getting customers from across the globe, she said that the company may need to launch a new website to cater to segmented audiences in new countries in the near futur women's coats e.

TSB Magazine Revamps its Fashion Section to Include More Fashion Advice for Men

TSB Magazine, a leading online source for men's interest articles and dating advice, has revamped its fashion section to include more insights and advice about style, clothing, accessories, and other men's-fashion-related topic s.

The new articles in this department mainly touch on the practical aspects of fashion. Most of the pieces that have already been published do not mention subjects like haute couture or brand name fashions, instead take a more universal approach to covering men's style.

Some of the new articles demonstrate this approach to covering men's style. Recent headlines include: Summer Shoes that aren't Flip Flops, How to Dress Yourself Bulkier, How to Make Loose Jeans Look Good, and the Long and Short of Shorts.

Many of the articles published in TSB's fashion section, both before and after the revamp, were penned by Melbourne-based journalist Natasha Abrahams, who also covers the entertainment scene in Australia for Weekendnotes. She brings a female's insight to men's fashion and covers topics that are related to regular everyday styles, not high-end fashions. Abrahams is slated to continue her column on TSB for the foreseeable future.

The revamped fashion section has joined the other men's interest departments on TSB. All departm women's coats ents are updated regularly, with most seeing several new articles per week.

The site's dating section covers all aspects of the dating game from a guy's perspective. The articles in this department include everything from flirting and seduction tips to tips on how to date multiple women at once to sex advice.

The Alpha Living department, meanwhile, covers health and business topics and also features profiles of well-known or successful men (a recent profile focused on comic book legend Stan Lee). Other profiles in Alpha Living feature people who are "self-made" and have started a major enterprise on their own and built it into a successful business on their own.

One of the most unique departments on TSB's site is entitled Inner Game. This section features articles about building confidence and mental strength and developing skills that can be applied in a variety of business and dating situations. Recent articles in this particular section include Embrace Game-Changing Moments and Curb your Self-Depreciation.

Other regularly-updated sections on TSB include College Life, which focuses on dating, partying and health for college-age readers; Videos, which features a variety of video posts related to the different men's interest topics; and Woman, which profiles some of the world's most beautiful and famous actresses, models, and other celebrities.

Because the site is updated multiple times each day, each section regularly receives new content. Readers with an interest in men's fashion will be able to read fresh content regularly, while those new to TSB can explore the large backlog of fashion-related articles that have already been published on the site.
